"I nurse my baby in this rocking chair and we do family story time in it. I use a cross cradle hold, and the arm is at the right height to rest my elbow while I'm nursing the baby. All three of us can fit when we read him a story before bed. I'm 5'2" and 140lb (size 6), my husband is 5'11" and 195lb and usually wears a men's large- the baby is 5 months and sits on his lap. It's a cozy fit but comfortable enough. My husband says it wasn't hard to put together and there were no overly heavy components. He did it himself. Overall for the price, I think it's a really good buy, and I'll think we'll get years of use out of it because we'll probably use it for story time for a while."
"Overall, a 5 star chair- especially for the price. The rocker chair is very simple to put together (bolt the rockers on and slide the pieces together). I was concerned with the sturdiness after seeing how quick and easy it was to assemble, BUT I was pleasantly surprised! I got this chair for my son’s nursery in hopes that my 4 year old could sit with baby and I to help combat her feeling left out once baby arrives. It will easily fit us, as my husband and I both sat together in it. It was a tighter squeeze for two adults but not uncomfortably if you like each other ;) and just for reference I am a curvy woman, size 14, and my husband is 6’ size 32. I look forward to using it more after baby arrives! I see this chair getting a lot of use."
"This chair is made of high quality solid wood, and the cushions are soft (and it even comes with extra pillows!) It's safe to sway when you're sitting on it and you don't have to worry about tipping over. The size is wide enough for most people, and the included footstool is very comfortable. You will have no issues matching this chair with your other furniture as the neutral tone blends in nicely with pretty much any decor. I was able to quickly assemble the chair and footstool, but the included instructions were not that great. Fortunately, this assembly was not too complicated, so a single person can still do it in under an hour. However, if the chair had included clearer assembly instructions, it would be a nice plus."
"My husband and I did a ton of research on choosing a chair for our nursery. I normally do not take the time to write a review, but since I found myself reading every single review on each chair we were selecting, I thought I would take the time to review. 1.mid century modern look of the chair- does not look like a nursery rocker- love the gray color and walnut color of wood. 2.price point - similar chair on other websites were close to $1,000. 3.the arms seem like the correct height for nursing a baby (we are due in March so haven’t officially tested it out yet). 4.The rocker rocks nicely on our hardwood floors and has protective felt in the bottom of the rockers..."
